Welcome to Renmore Pantomime Society
Renmore’s 31st Annual Pantomime ‘Mother Goose’ opens at Town Hall Theatre, Galway on 30th December 2009.
Enjoy the zany adventures of poor, kind-hearted ‘Mother Goose’. She becomes very rich when her magical goose starts to lay golden eggs. But when tempted by the evil spirit of vanity she loses her personal share of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ by agreeing to exchange her Goose for the chance to become young and beautiful. However, through many comical and political twists, the corrupt Baxter Banker meets his match in the unsuccessful Fairy Harney. Goodness wins the day with laughter and song in the best pantomime tradition.
A host of well-known Galway performers, exhilarating dance routines, spectacular sets and costumes and the delightful little Renmore Smurfs will ensure a feast of family entertainment.
Written by Panto Dame, Peter Kennedy and directed by the award winning Power Twins it promises to be another major hit.
Auditions for Mother Goose - Principals, Dancers and Smurfs take place in September 2009.
