Renmore Pantomime Society who are affiliated to the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) are delighted that 8 of their former/present Panto Performers were nominated for the AIMS Awards Weekend at Killarney 15th June 2019.
 
Roisín Lawless (Panto 2016) – Best actress in a Supporting Role.
Vi Moore in ‘Footloose’ Twin Productions, Galway.
 
Edel McFadden (Panto 1979-80) – Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Abuela Claudia in ‘In the Heights’ Muse Productions, Shannon.
 
Alan Greaney (Panto 2005-6, 2008, 2012) – Best Actor.
Gomez Addams in ‘The Addams Family’ Ennis MS.
 
Taz Spelman (Panto 2012-14, 2016) – Best Female Singer.
Berta in ‘Pippin’ Galway University MS (GUMS).
 
Jay Molyneux (Panto 1997-2000) – Best Choreographer.
‘Our House’ Galway Musical Society (GMS).
 
Shane Farrell (Panto 2012) – Best Musical Director.
‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ Castlerea Musical Society.

Peter Kennedy
(Panto 2004-2020)Spirit of AIMS.

Directing the atmospheric scene when Jesus is begged to heal the sick in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ Castlerea Musical Society.

Kevin Murphy
(Panto 2016) – Directing ‘Pippin’ Galway University MS (GUMS) nominated for Best

Aladdin 2020

Renmore Pantomime’s 41st Annual Pantomime ‘Aladdin’ will run for 20 performances between Sunday 29th Dec 2019 and Sunday 12th Jan 2020 at Town Hall Theatre, Galway.
Auditions for Principals, Chorus, Dancers and Smurfs will take place in September 2019. Further details later.
 

 40th Anniversary – Celebrations

Renmore Pantomime Society are this year celebrating 40 years of Pantomimes (1979-2019).


A ‘Ruby Ball’ originally planned for April has been deferred to Saturday 12th October 2019 at Galway Bay Hotel.

Since 1979 about 250,000 people have been entertained by Renmore’s Annual Panto so if you were anyway involved over the years, and even if you weren’t, we’d like you to come along the the Ball for a great night of memories, fun, dance, entertainment and celebration.

Please indicate your interest in attending this ‘Ruby Ball’ to any member of the  Panto Ball Committee – Brian Power, Chontelle Kenny, Riona Heneghan, Mary Loughnane. Seán Power, Simone Watson & Emma Keenan.
