During the run of the Panto the proceeds from the raffle are donated to a local charity. The chosen charity is announced in December of each year.

The charity for the 2020 production of Aladdin was Operation Walk.

Operation Walk Ireland is an Irish based charity whose mission is to perform hip and knee replacements on patients who would otherwise not have access to this life changing surgery.

Operation Walk will be travelling to Hanoi, Vietnam in March 2020 along with colleagues from Bon Secours Hospital, Galway Clinic, GUH, and Cross Street Dental Clinic, Galway as part of the surgical/medical to help perform 100 hip and knee replacements over a 10 day period.

Operation Walk also provides education and supervised training to local doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and allied healthcare workers. Volunteers give their time and expertise but pay their own flights and accommodation of €1,500 each.
